Don’t Buy Into The Hype – You Can Still Make Good Money
I don’t watch the news. Partly because I don’t have time but mostly because I don’t like the way it makes me feel. I’m so sick of hearing the doom and gloom of our economy. What I have realized that it is the hip thing to say “Well the economy is down so…” or “we couldn’t do this or that because of the down economy.”
Honestly the more I hear it the more I think people say it because it is the thing to say. Here is a newsflash…the economy is not down in internet marketing. Jesse and I have created a business model that has proven to work over and over again even in this “down” economy.
I’m not denying that things are bad for many people in many industries, the point I am making is that you don’t have to submit to the idea that it is impossible to make money in this economy. I can tell you with 100% confidence that this year is going to be my best year financially ever…in fact it already is guaranteed to be so.
So how in this “fledgling” economy can I have my best year ever? Like I have mentioned before in previous posts, I have a great system in place that allows me to acquire websites, fix them up, take home the revenue increase and eventually sell the site.
How To Make Money Flipping Websites
When people ask me what I do I always say “I flip websites”. Then when they realize they didn’t mishear me, they give me an “I don’t get it” look and I explain that it is like flipping real estate only with websites.
I have seen alot of programs out there that supposedly teach you how to flip websites but the tactics they teach are short-term minded and the profit is minimal (in the hundreds of dollars) per transaction. My system takes a more long term approach and has allowed me to do things like buy a website for $500, spend time increasing it’s value and about a year later flip it for $150,000. That’s the kind of increase that I have experienced over and over again.

Now I will say that I am at an advantage because I have created some awesome website flipping tools that allow me to quickly evaluate websites, find hidden gems on the verge of being big money makers, and tools to help me optimize and increase rankings of websites I buy.

Why must you tease us with your pending Prosperly tools? :) I signed up for your update email on the tools and am anxiously waiting to see some of the things that you have used to have the success that you have.
Also, thanks for the “Striking Internet Oil” report. It was a fun read and has definitely motivated me to work harder in my internet marketing endeavors! That’s quite the success story (true to the Prosperly Way). One day I too will be reporting on similar successes.

“Obviously” not everyone is being effected by the “down” economy right now but I dont know many people who did loose their shirt or at least a cuff link in “real estate”. On that note, I have no doubt that “internet real estate” will be as stable today as it will be tomorrow (if not MORE). Not to mention the difference between investing $150 bucks vs. taking out a substantial loan on something that is just going to fall apart.

I can definately tell you that 2009 is a much better year for me than 2008 with my websites. Last year I lost about $500 and this year I have already made more than $500. Now I haven’t invested anything more than the minimum and lots of time in my small websites. But I can tell you the one I start focussing on in Sept 2008 is now a search engine leader in its niche.
Perhaps while everyone else is discouraged about the economy the rest of us can ignore the negativity and messages of fear and snatch up “search engine share” while everyone else is afraid to invest time/money there.
I want the tools too, but I will be patient. I know what its like to be busy and slow to follow-up. Just look at how long it has been since my last comment. Count me in, when you are ready. Thanks in advance!!!

And, I agree on the bad economy comments. In fact, website flipping for me has gotten even better, because the economy has led more people to looking for extra cash/side businesses to start/buy online. :)

Making money flipping websites is very much alive and well. Look at any of the big auction sites and you will find daily activity of people selling and buying websites.
