Search Engine Optimization 101
Search engine optimization is so important to the overall success of an internet business because the traffic you get from search engines is all free. Some of the websites we run get over 90% of their traffic from search engines. I don’t pay a dime for any of the 35,000 visitors a month we get to these sites. It is also important because if you know SEO well, you can start an internet business in any industry and make money there.
I have been doing SEO as a full time profession for the past 6 years on over 300 websites. My own SEO copmpany website is in the top 5 of Google for “SEO services” and “SEO consultant”The reason I tell you this is because I want you to know that I am proficient in SEO and know which SEO principles actually work and the techniques that aren’t worth your time.
I will try and give you sound practical SEO advice that you can easily understand and quickly implement to optimize your own site to the fullest. I will use specific examples so you can get a good idea of what I am talking about.

I work for the pubic schools and I only just started in this web marketing/seo industry because it looked fun and possibly profitable (possibly should be underlined). I have no experience in the web industry, I had never built a website and I spent more time searching for the definitions of all the terms and jargon used in the explanations on this site than I actually did studying the principals.
I have a site that that is ranking on the first page of Google under more than one key term. The site is less than 6 months old and this week alone I had almost 2,000 visitors.

Your article was hands down a good read & I respect good content on the internet because a large amount of it’s dupicate. I understand that in the area of site material it’s pretty much King for the matter of getting a webpage ranked and what not (probably why I discovered this). I have managed a few sites back when and am focusing on an online micro gigs marketplace type thing for members to visit and buy and sell services to other users. That being said I have to work on writing some blog content and what not on the webpage and what not. So anyway take care and continue putting out good material.
